Overview
DAR: Rimming the central area is Kivukoni Front, with a bustling fish market where dhows dock at dawn to offload the night’s catch. Excellent craft markets and restaurants abound, and nearby sandy beaches and islands beckon.
DAR es Salaam’s architecture is a mixture of African, Arab, Indian and German, although much of this is now dwarfed by towering high-rises. Many travelers bypass ‘DAR’ completely; those that linger will encounter the city’s eclectic cultural mix and languid vibe.
Zanzibar: In the island’s capital, Zanzibar Town, sits the historic quarter of Stone Town, with a mesmerizing mix of influences from Africa, Arabia, India and Europe.
For these reasons and more, Zanzibar Island (officially called Unguja) is the archipelago’s focal point, and the most popular destination for visitors, but choose your spot carefully. While it’s easy to find tranquil beauty or party buzz (or both), increasing development threatens the island’s ineluctable magic and fragile community resources.

Day 1Nairobi Journey to DAR-es-salaam
Board your DAR Express bus at 0500 hrs. Depart for DAR driving through the scenic Rift Valley arriving DAR at around 2100 hrs. Take a taxi to your hotel in DAR (own cost) Check in and enjoy the rest of night at leisure
Day 2Zanzibar Beach Hotel or Resort
After early breakfast at 8:00 A.M. Take a taxi to the harbor where you take a catamaran cruise to Zanzibar. Arrive in Zanzibar where you will be met by our representative who will take you to your hotel. On the way you will pass via Spice Island for a 1 hour tour before being dropped to the hotel. After check in you may freshen up, take a snack in the restaurant before visiting the beach for a stroll or water sports. Rest of day at leisure.
Day 3Zanzibar Beach Hotel or Resort & Mnemba Safari Blue and Sunset Dhow cruise
After Breakfast our guide will pick you and take you together with others on a full day tour by dhow to visit Mnemba Island where you will spend the day sailing, snookering and swimming with the dolphins(seasonal) in the serene Indian Ocean. Seafood and barbecue luncheon will be served in the white sandy island as u relax and get a chance to network with other holiday makers in this excursion from all over the world. In the evening enjoy a sunset cruise to enjoy sun-downers at the best view point as drinks and snacks will be served Return to the hotel for the rest of the evening at leisure
Day 4Relaxation in Zanzibar
After breakfast you may spend the whole day as you please, this day you can sample the hotel facilities or sometime in the spa.
Day 5DAR Hotel & Kariokor Market shopping
After breakfast check out of the hotel. You will be transferred to the harbor for your cruise back to DAR. Arrive and take a taxi (own cost) to hotel for check in You will have the whole afternoon to enjoy shopping at the famous Kariokor market before returning to your hotel for relaxation and leisure.
Day 6Dar-es-salaam to Nairobi
Enjoy early breakfast in the hotel and take a taxi (own cost) to the bus stop for your bus back to Nairobi.
